Mart Hoogkamer is a Dutch singer known for big sing-along hits and packed festival stages. Soon he plays one night at Portofino, the cocktail bar and wine bar on Calle Ramón y Cajal in Torrevieja. No distant stage: Mart sings at the nine-metre bar, among the guests. This close, a voice sounds different from how it does on a big stage. Doors open at 19:00. You start with a cocktail or a glass of wine, the first set begins at 21:00 and after the second set the bar stays open. The room is small and a night like this fills up fast.
